1.) Describe T.R's life before he became president (where he was from, date he was born etc.)
- Was born Oct. 27 1858 and died on Jan. 6th 1919. Teddy R. was born in New York City. He was the child of Theodore and Martha Roosevelt. T.R. attended Harvard University.
2.) How did T.R. become President ?
- T.R. was the 26th president of the U.S. his term was Sept. 14, 1901 through March 4, 1909. He became president when president William McKinley was shot and killed in 1901
3.) What was T.R's Bully Pulpit ?
- It was a terrific platform from which to advocate an agenda . (example - the White House)
4.) Summarize T.R's opinion on the civil rights.
- T.R.'s opinion on the civil rights was that he wanted the blacks and whites to be seperate but equal .
5.) Explain if you would like T.R as president, if he were president today.
- I don't think I would like for T.R. to be president today because seperation would not be ideal for this time period.
